Pokémon Center Canada and the virtual queue

Pokémon Center puts you in a waiting room during big drops. Here is what that actually means if you are buying from Canada.

On high-demand releases, Pokémon Center puts arrivals into a virtual queue — a waiting room that holds you and admits people in batches rather than letting everyone hit the store at once. You get a position and an estimated wait, and the estimate moves in both directions.

What matters if you're in Canada

When does the queue appear?

It appears on demand, not on a schedule — typically the moment a major set or a limited item goes live. That's the practical case for monitoring rather than guessing: the useful signal is "the waiting room is up right now", and it's only useful in the minute it happens.

We monitor Pokémon Center specifically for this, and any queue activity we record shows in our Pokémon Center log.
